(More customer reviews)I did a lot of looking around before I chose this storage unit. I wanted something sturdy and weatherproof that I could lock up and put out across the parking lot of the townhouse apartments that I live in. Not enough room on the patio for storage. This went together well, after I read the instructions and is holding up great so far. I drilled 2 small holes to run a u shaped hook through the back and caulked it so I could chain it to a fence back there. So far it is doing well with some very heavy rain, high winds and hot sun. It doesn't come with the shelves anymore, but I bought a plain wire shelf from rubbermaid's closet series that fits in there fine. I have lawn chairs and a trimmer and some garden stuff on the bottom and then storage for other small things on top. This was a good value if you shop around for the best price and is made so much better than the cheaper brands that it is well worth it.

(More customer reviews)Tape is maybe a bit too delicate, as I have routinely had problems getting it to stick to my walls. It and its cousins don't work well for brush painting anyway, unless you're an extremely sloppy painter. I always get paint to work its way under the tape - it's cheaper and quicker to ditch the tape and freehand edges. Maybe it does ok for spray paints. I will say it does work well for masking caulk, when you can get it to stick, of course.

(More customer reviews)I have had this shed for less than one year. High temperatures here in the summer months reach high 90's with the occasional day at one hundred degrees. This shed is in partial shade during much of the afternoon, yet the heat buckled it so badly that it had to be wired back together---it actually popped apart! It became so warped that the top will not close.
Before that, during the winter, it contracted so much from the cold, (which, at worst, would be about 20 degrees at night) that spaces appeared at all the seams and water and snow went right in.
So, what good is a shed that literally pops apart and is not water resistant?
It is quite expensive and not at all reliable, unless, of course, you live in a mild climate where it is always balmy and never rains or snows.

It's easy to remove and repositon and looks great on textured walls too. The artwork on it is a little faded looking... but from the floor you don't notice it. If you are using it at the top of your walls where the ceiling meets the wall: be sure to paint your ceiling color into the crack up there too, about 1/2 inch down your wall, to give yourself adequate space to postion the border nicely (away from textured ceiling bumps).

I was able to put them up and if i didnt like the look i moved them around. It was fun being creative. it gives you instructions on where to apply each sticker but because of the room size that i was decorating i needed to move some of the tree limbs around. i made the tree taller and shortened the limb length. i also place the animals and flowers throughout the room to give it a more woodsy feel. Will definetly buy the same type of stickers again for when she gets older and wants to change her room around. Another benefit is we no longer need to repaint the room because these stickers add the color and energy that we were looking for. Would definetly recommend these to a friend. Great price compared to other sites we looked at.

McCoy Attic Laddermate Review

(More customer reviews)I just finished installing this cover. If installed fairly easily even for one person doing it without a helper. The trickiest part was pre-drilling the holes for the hinges and getting the device hung by the hinges. With another person holding the bulky device, this part would be easy.
I also added some additional rigid foamboard insulation on top of the attic door and between the door and the Laddermate to increase the R value.
The reason I bought the Laddermate was because it was the only insulation device I could find that would install inside the room on the ceiling. This was necessary because my attic door was installed about 50 yrs ago and the stairs don't fold like modern ones. Instead, the ladder is one solid piece that slides up into the attic before closing the attic door. The result is a 10 foot ladder laying on the attic floor and attached to the attic door. None of the in-attic insulating devices would work with this configuration.
For most modern folding ladders, the Laddermate is probably big enough, but I would probably choose an in-attic insulation fix if this was possible.
I mis-measured my attic door before ordering the Laddermate and discovered that the Laddermate was not long enough to cover the entire opening for my attic door. I solved the size problem by covering the remaining part of the door with rigid foamboard and weatherstripping. I will paint the Laddermate, the foamboard and the ceiling when the weather warms up. The aesthetics aren't the best, but it should do the job.

I would suggest cutting out the branches and arranging them on the floor before applying to the wall. I messed up one of the branches when I was applying it. I didn't lay the decal flat and it had a bubble in it. I was able to quickly remove the decal and replace it without doing any damage to the wall or the decal. My wall looks beautiful!

Fast Framer Universal Storage Shed Framing Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I have always considered myself to be an `average' handyman.. I can do most tasks around the home without too much damage. Sometimes I need to research, but get there in the end. We had been lacking the use of a good sized work shed and really wanted to build it myself, but without the shed, I was lacking the tools or a work area. So we purchased one from a local company instead.
This year we wanted to move our chickens into a more permanent structure so decided to build one ourselves. Like I said, I consider myself to be average when it comes to most work but I had never put a shed together. It was the roof part that always looked difficult with the angle cuts. I came across this kit and was pleased to see that there was no angle cuts to be make. Just cut 2x4 to length and put together.
One kit allows for a 7x8ft sized building which was perfect for our requirements. The kit is basically 12 triangle shaped pieces for attaching the vertical studs to the floor and 24 pieces for attaching the studs to the rafters. It also states `full' instructions .. however, I do not consider 2 pages to be `full' instructions. There is enough however to get an idea of steps needed.
I will not go into details on the build process, but detail a couple of things..
The 24 pieces used to connect the studs to the rafters are thin and will bend when you are trying to move the attached pieces from one side to the other and then when you are raising to a vertical position. You certainly need 2, if not 3 people to support it.
I found it difficult to get exacting squares. When building a shed using normal methods, you effectively put 4 squares (sides) together and you need some bad luck to be completely out of shape if you test your diagonals. However, there are not many diagonals to test in this structure and could have spent weeks lining everything up to be perfect.
In the end, the shed was put together, and does appear to be sturdy. I did learn a great deal from using the kit and more importantly, it gave me the confidence to build another structure without using the kit. I also came across a lot of brackets and metal pieces at Lowes that would enable me to put a roof together without having to cut weird angles. Not a bad price for a 7x8, but I would not want to purchase 3 kits for a 10x22. You can buy a lot of 2x4's for the same cost.
Bottom line is yes, I recommend this kit if you are not too confident at putting a structure together in the first place, but once you do get one together, it is unlike you will use the kit again due to the increase in confidence you get from completing the task.

Funny how there are standard sizes of dust collection and vacume hoses, but every tool seems to have a dust collection port that is in some odd size. Nothing fits. This adaptor gets in between the odd sizes of tools and standard size of hose. You can easily trim this adaptor to fit either an inside diameter or outside diameter of the adaptor. Like I have said before, it does what it says it will do.
