This crystal rendition of the Chrysler tower has tremendous detail and captures the artistic expression of the design, especially of the crowning cap of the building. It's been a delight to have on my glass top desk, although I use it to hold snacks or cookies, it is beautiful enough to have sit empty. Sturdy, with keyed, "locking" corners so that the lid won't just slide off. It's a bit trickey to pick the top up since it tapers and the glass edges are rounded and smooth. Just be careful and you'll be ok. Definately not for children to use, at all. I bought my first one at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC. After my son broke the lid, I was most pleased to find it offered on Amazon.com and immediately ordered a replacement. Yes, it is a treasured delight to have sitting on my desk where I spend so much time. Now, if there were just one for the Empire State Building and other renowned, stately structures.
