The Good: I paid a good price for it...last time I checked it cost $248.00 more than what I paid. I personally think the current price is too high. Has plenty of room, including overhead room. Excellent for my four shelf systems (Note: you can't attach anything to the walls). Instructions are easy to follow. As long as you follow the steps provided, you won't have any issues. Can be built with just a few tools; level, square, drill with a Phillips screwdriver tip (believe me, you need the drill) and a pair of pliers. It actually looks good after it's built.
The Bad: Time: It takes much longer than the three hours stated on the manual to build it. Having a concrete slab will help tremendously, but unless you have a lot of experience building this type of structure, expect to spend at least half a day or more. Flimsy...walls, ceiling and supports are fragile; can be bent or dented easily. They are mostly held with screws (many screws) and the screws don't take much torque to run down. Two issues with the screws, if you tighten them too much (it doesn't take much to over-torque them), the holes will enlarge to the point where the screws can be spin with your fingers. This is a bigger problem if you installing the roof because it may (will) leak. The second issue with the screws; there aren't enough of them. There are plenty to complete the installation as described, but if you don't provide extra support by adding many more screws, the noise from the walls every time the wind blows will keep you awake all night. You need good eyesight to identify each part; each has an ID for easy identification, the problem is that on most parts the ID is stamped and can be really difficult to read it.
The ugly: Doors; they are more than flimsy, they are a joke. They are supported by four plastic sliders on the top side. The sliders look and feel cheap; don't expect to get too much mileage out of them. The four plastic supports at the bottom are worst; they are just four pieces of plastic that can allow the doors to shake with a small breeze. A would be thief won't have the slightest issue breaking in as the doors can easily be pushed out of the way; whether locked or not. Noise every time the wind blows; like I mentioned previously, materials are flimsy and not well supported, so they'll flap continuously to the point that the noise gets to be annoying.
Suggestions: Make sure it's built on a solid and leveled foundation. Before you start putting it together, identify and separate each part. This is a two-people job; not because it's heavy, but because it's flimsy. Get some extra sheet metal screws...this can be done after it's built. Seal, seal and seal some more; get a tube or two of a good quality outdoor silicon sealer and seal all screw heads (especially on the roof panels), around the four plastic vents, front and back upper side of wall panels and where each panel meet. Use clear silicone to make it look more professional.
