I was preparing to dye it and needed to get as much of the 14 years worth of pollen and some sort of red fungus that not even bleach would kill. After 2 minutes the dash (which is gray) began running reddish with the funus/pollen krud that had pitted it. It washed off clean and turned out really clean. It turned out to be the perfect prep for the vinyl dye I was using (which it really sensitive to oils, silicon preservatives, and other protectants. I am VERY happy with the results.
