(More customer reviews)When I started weaving, I used a ridged heddle loom. I only did a few projects when I decided to purchase an eight-shaft floor loom so I would be ready for anything in the future. I also have a table loom that can go from eight to 12 shafts. Since then most of the projects I tackled could have been accomplished in the rigid heddle.
This animal is more effective and easier to handle than I realize. Moreover, it has a major manufacturer to back it up.
I use the stand because there is no more room in the weaving room for tables. You could probably set this up in front of a TV for watching instruction videos. Build a small cover to keep the cats off it. Cats like to sleep on it and any loose thread is fair game until they are trained.
This is not a toy.
I would point to Ashford but they have no multishaft looms on Amazon.
